Injury & Sports Rehab
Have you been experiencing residual pain or discomfort as the result of a sports or athletics-related injury?
Progressive Rehab
Been told that surgery is your only option? With progressive rehabilitation, that may not be the case.
When you’ve been living with chronic pain, experiencing difficulties engaging in daily activities, or simply feeling not like yourself, it may seem like surgery is your only option. Too often, surgery is recommended as the only avenue of treatment other than relying on pain medication to get through the day. Fortunately, at Integrity Spine & Wellness, we offer powerful and effective care that can help you rehabilitate your body progressively, without the need for invasive surgery.
Progressive rehabilitation is a process that has developed over years of successful treatment from chiropractors on individuals who had also been told that surgery was their only option. This form of care takes place on a long-term program designed to slowly increase the intensity of treatment, allowing the body to adapt and recover over time with the help of chiropractic support.
As always, our treatment plans are designed specifically for your needs. Once you’ve received your initial assessment, we focus on releasing any tension and strain in your muscular system, restoring complete nerve connection, and restoring the optimal alignment of joints and bones.
Once your body has relaxed and started to return to optimal function, we apply advanced techniques to increase your body’s flexibility, boost your circulation and immune function, combat inflammation, and aid your body in creating or restoring healthy tissue as needed. We may also prescribe a series of helpful at-home exercises, or take-home tools, to help supplement your in-office treatments. This way, your body is far less likely to be re-injured and your healing time is accelerated and cemented long-term.

Kinesiology Taping
What is kinesiology taping, and how can it help me?
If you’ve ever seen professional athletes with eye-catching tape crossing over various parts of the body, then you’ve seen kinesiology tape. There are very legitimate health benefits that motivate athletes to use kinesiology tape in their own recovery process—when expertly applied, the tape can boost circulation, increasing blood flow and the transportation of oxygen and nutrients to specific parts of the body.
Additionally, expertly applied kinesiology tape can aid in lymphatic drainage, which is essential when an injury has occurred in the body and inflammation has started to kick in. Kinesiology tape can help the body recover, while still allowing for physical performance without further injury.
If you’re experiencing muscle cramping, shin splints, runner’s knee, plantar fasciitis, or other joint and muscle injuries related to inflammation and over-use, kinesiology taping can help! At Integrity Spine & Wellness, we have years of experience utilizing kinesiology tape as a tool for helping support the body’s healing. Most often, the tape is used in sports-related injuries or over-use, such as tennis elbow and tears and strains of the rotator cuff, but we also use it for posture correction, exercise-related damage, and to support everyday activities while the body heals.
If you have experienced a sports or activity-related injury which needs support while healing, your expert chiropractor can help determine whether kinesiology tape may be a helpful treatment for you, as well as teach you how to apply it at home for future use.

Functional Exercise
Did you know that the right exercises can be a therapeutic part of your healing journey?
It’s not unusual for people to become injured during everyday activities—moving furniture, bending down to retrieve fallen objects, or even engaging in a regular form of exercise can cause injury. Even more common is for individuals to become injured and then not take sufficient time to recover. Unfortunately, when you don’t take the necessary amount of time to allow your body to recover, this can often lead to chronic pain and discomfort.
Once chronic pain has set in, it’s natural for the body to try and isolate the painful area. This leads to stiffness, restriction of movement, and most often, misalignment to the bones and joints of the local area.
At Integrity Spine & Wellness, we understand that movement is an important part of healing and recovery, particularly in cases like the one above. We use functional exercise to help get the sore and restricted joints, tissues, and muscles moving. Combined with regular chiropractic care and mindful stretching, this is one of the fastest ways to full recovery—helping to resolve the issue at the root, correct any misalignment, and bring health circulation to the area.
If your expert chiropractor determines that functional exercise will be beneficial to you, you will receive comprehensive chiropractic care as well as be shown a series of movements meant to be practiced outside of the office. These exercises will serve as a supplemental form of rehabilitative care, allowing your body to become both strengthened and relaxed, which helps the damaged area to become less inflamed and boosts circulation. Additionally, each progressive treatment and exercise session will help to decrease any pain you may be experiencing until the body is fully healed.
If you’re ready to get moving again and fully support your body in its journey to recovery, book your appointment today.
